Mattel released the Big Jim Kung Fu outfit, reference 7391, in 1976 as part of the European Action Sets range. Designed to place Big Jim in a martial-arts training role, this vintage set features a bright yellow two-piece uniform with contrasting black edging, traditional fastening details and a black waist sash. Sealed examples also confirm the presence of black martial-arts equipment, including nunchaku and a long practice weapon; the Big Jim figure itself was not included. The distinctive yellow costume differentiates this reference from earlier Kung Fu outfits and later black variations produced by Mattel.
