7384 Hatatitla

Released in Europe around 1976–1977, Hatatitla is the brown horse associated with Old Shatterhand in Mattel’s Karl May western range, derived from the Big Jim universe. This vintage reference 7384 features an articulated horse with a reddish-brown body, contrasting black mane, tail and lower legs. The set was supplied with removable riding equipment, including a saddle and bridle, allowing Old Shatterhand or another compatible 10-inch figure to be displayed on horseback. In some Big Jim markets, the same reference was identified as Tempest, the cowboy horse, making packaging and naming variations particularly significant for collectors. Hatatitla remains a distinctive Mattel collection piece that reflects the European success of the western-themed Big Jim line.
