7373 Motocross Honda

Big Jim Motocross Honda, reference 7373, was released by Mattel around 1974–1975 and reproduces the famous Honda Elsinore CR-250M motocross motorcycle in miniature. This early vintage version features the distinctive silver fuel tank with Honda emblems and green detailing, green racing number plates, black saddle, spoked wheels, knobby off-road tyres, exposed engine, exhaust and rear suspension. The motorcycle was designed for Big Jim figures but, as stated directly on the period box, Big Jim was not included and the bike was not motorized. Closely inspired by Honda’s competition machine introduced in the early 1970s, this Mattel reference reflects the strong sporting identity of the original Big Jim range and its emphasis on realistic vehicles and outdoor action.
