The Mattel Big Jim Sports Camper, reference 4384, is a vintage adventure vehicle designed as a fully equipped mobile campsite for Big Jim and his companions' outdoor expeditions. First released in the United States in 1972 and later introduced to selected European markets around 1976, this large brown camper transforms into a functional living space thanks to its opening features and detailed interior. The set included a boat with an outboard motor and oars, a table, stools, a campfire, a cooler, a first-aid kit, cooking equipment, a guitar, and sleeping bags. Action figures were sold separately. This impressive collector's item reuses a vehicle body originally developed by Mattel for the Barbie Country Camper, adapted with a design and decoration specific to the Big Jim universe.
