2369 Lone Wolf

Mattel’s Lone Wolf, reference 2369, was released in 1978 as part of the TV’s How the West Was Won range, a short-lived Western series using the Big Jim action-figure format. This vintage figure represents a Native American warrior and reuses the character design associated with Mattel’s European Winnetou/Geronimo releases. Lone Wolf is presented bare-chested, wearing a patterned headband, a distinctive necklace and light-colored trousers with decorative side trim. The figure retains the articulated Big Jim body and characteristic action mechanism used across the range. Contemporary boxed examples confirm these principal costume elements; no additional weapon or loose accessory can be established with sufficient certainty for reference 2369. A distinctive Mattel vintage release linking the Big Jim collection with 1970s television Western merchandising.

Real heroes always live great adventures.
